What? Big Ben is the loving nickname for the bell of the clock tower adjoining the Houses of Parliament. Completed in 1858 the tower stands at 97m tall making it the third tallest clock tower in the World. The Houses of Parliament, comprised of the House of Lords and Houses of Commons, are the centre of British politics and where all British laws are passed.

From the Hotel The best way to the Houses of Parliament is by Bus. Exit the Hotel, take a right and walk straight ahead. Take a right at the first set of traffic lights onto Warwick Way and walk straight. At the second set of traffic lights take a left onto Wilton Road and walk all the way down to Victoria Bus station. From Victoria Bus station take Bus number 11 or 24 to Westminster.
When? Tours take place on Saturdays throughout the year from 9.15am to 4.30pm, and during the summer opening time of 29th July to 3rd September 2011 and 19th September to 1st October 2011.
