What? World famous street market held in Notting Hill on Portobello Road. At over two miles in length, on a Saturday, you will find antiques, fruit and vegetables, fashion, new and second hand goods. The main market days are Friday and Saturday. The antique market takes place on Saturdays only. Cupcakes from the Hummingbird Bakery are highly recommended.
Where? Portobello Road, W11. The nearest underground stations are Ladbroke Grove to the North end and Notting Hill Gate to the south of Portobello Road. The antiques market is closer to Notting Hill station.
From the Hotel The easiest way to get to the market is by Bus. Exit the Hotel, take a right and walk straight ahead. Take a right at the first set of traffic lights onto Warwick Way and walk straight. At the second set of traffic lights take a left onto Wilton Road and walk all the way down to Victoria station. From here take the bus number 148 to Queensway Station, then get off and change to bus 70 to Portobello Road.
When? Generally the timings for the market are Mondays to Saturdays 8am to 6.30pm except Thursdays from 8am to 1pm and Sundays from 11am to 4pm.
